Yeh it’s fun going to a Hot-Rod Swap Meet – that is unless it’s a Swap Meet Date – in that case U might as well be a stuffed bunny. Our all-round assistant – Gwennie – met this Kustom-Kulture guy while back and decided he was pretty cool – and he is. Sad bit for Gwennie is that she isn’t the center of his universe – Ha! Like all swap-meets – the ones for Hot-Rods are peopled by those obsessed with their sub- culture! Mostly that’s cool for them, but for their hangers-on of the moment – - – not so much. We’d been at this particular meet most the day and it was getting dark – ol’-J referred to it as night – I on the other hand being a photog have nuances of night – don’t get me wrong – ol’what’shername is a gifted amateur photographer – she has a great eye – wish I could get her all trained up and two of us working at it – but as gifted as she is – I’m not sure photography is her passion – time will tell ~:0) Naturally shot this scene with the old Canon G11 – for the work I do why carry anything heavier. The G11 shoots RAW – has Wide-Angle and mild Telephoto – what more could one ask. Think this one was shot at 12mm wide-angle – Stirred in a pot of PhotoShop Fun to help tell the story and roasted in a 350 degree oven ’till the colors began to run – Ha! (Oh BTW for U metric users out there that oven temp is 4 kilometers and the spelling of color would be colour – otherwise all bets are off) Who wants some Fun Pictures?!?!?
