FROZEN LAVA!

Artist Reply: Actually, it isn't frozen! After it flows, when it cools down, it turns into a glass like material. There are huge lava fields in different places in Hawaii. It's really strange to see.

I can't imagine the ground which is in front, but the flowers blooming on the bushes make this work a new beginning, to what once was...

Artist Reply: This went on for miles & miles (not sure just how recent this lava flow was) & it was amazing to see the green or new life coming up through all that devastation! A nice tribute to life, I'd say :)
