The Orange Dodge

Whew! Hot one out there today. Hot Day – Hot Rods – Luckenbach Texas Hot Rod and Custom Car Show. Man what a day! We started off early before it got hot though afraid the heat caught up with us. What did we see at the Car Show under the trees in Luckenbach – Hot Rods – Rat Rods – Customs – Restorations – Street Rods – - – the whole nine-yards!!! We must have shot close to three hundred photos this Saturday and easily could have shot that many again. But as we neared the foot-bridge that led from the show area over to the Band Stand and Beer Joint it was a unanimous decision – Listen to the music that made Luckenbach famous and cool off with some ice cold adult beverage – still no Fourecks ~:0) This pix is an Orange Dodge Pick-Up Truck – I have no clue what year it was made – just know it was a bewdy and I had to work this photograph into the High Dynamic Range to get it to look like I always want to remember that truck. It was brilliant orange – the darkened background helps to push that orange machine in your face thanks to several hours work in Photoshop. I’m exhausted! I’ll be posting fotos from this show for quite awhile – come back often to ~:0) VivaChas!

Sweet and love what you did with red and blue....sweet QofA

Artist Reply: Thanks for noticing QofA - sometimes I have vague recollections of years in Art School - Ha! Sometimes wonder if it was all a dream ~:0) vivaChas!

Well, it's bright. And beautiful. Great restoration!

Artist Reply: Thanks for stopping by M - Yeah using complimentary color for the ground, wheels and trim - not to mention the background treatment help accentuate the "persistence of memory" effect - making the truck color pop - Ha! ~:0) VivaChas!
