16" x 20" oil on canvas. The Christeen an 1883 Oyster Sloop was refitted with a new keel and mast over the winter of 2010-11. This was painted "en plein air" the day before her re-launch. Maintained by The Waterfront center of Oyster Bay, NY and a national historic treasure since 1998, she is available for charter and sunset trips. A Museum purchase and now part of the museum of America and the Sea at Mystic Seaport, CT.
