What a nice and pleasing gathering in these colorful forms, Metin! I greatly appreciate the variety of topics and styles that you seem very comfortable with, AND successful and creating beauty, of which the universe needs more! I do want to complain, however, that I can make out at least parts of faces and/or bones in many of the paintings that you claim not to represent anything! I try to do that too. As you know, the main problem with being a "non-representational," "abstract," or whatever artist is that there are so many thing in this wonderful world that it is very difficult to put a brush full or knife full of paint anywhere on an empty surface without somebody seeing something there! So, I've figured out, as a "Whatever Artist," that the thing to do is (since I can't draw worth nutshells, anyway) is to try drawing something; then I title it "Whatever" it was that I was doing my best to draw. So the many otherwise nice people who do not care for "Whatever Art" any more than I do for raisins, will stand around and talk loudly about "Oh I don't see how anybody could call that a "Whatever." But the other genuine "Whatever Artists" will chuckle, wink, and say "Whatever you say!"
Meanwhile, I think that you are another one of those early worm-eating robins or whatever, Metin! Aw, but your own non-whatever art far out-numbers your whatever art. So I think you should practice whatever because you already are so much better than most non-whatever people. Awesome, and so forth!
Peace, etc., Bruce
