This is my first of many portraits of the first ever television artist, Jon Gnagy who I had the privilege of meeting twice in 1966 and 1971. He was a fantastic artist as well as a fine gentleman. Like artist Norman Rockwell, he was scorned by art critics because he actually could make a living off his talents rather than explaining what each of his paintings were about.
