"His Eye is on the Sparrow" and I know He watches me has always been one of my favorite songs. As i watched the White Crowned sparrows forage on seeds near my window this winter, the song came to my mind. I have always loved these birds who arrive in winter in Arkansas. They are a reminder of the wonderful God who watches over us and as I had this thought ,this painting became a reality. Blessings to all...

There is a very nice use of yellow and blues in the snow. It has an impressionistic feel to it. The composition is striking, with the bird forming a focal point in front of the fence.
