Artist Bio

I am influenced by the surrealist movement and my style is often referred to as art brut. My life size ceramic heads are based on people suffering from mental health issues. They are full of hidden and tiny thin things all round them. They have to be seen in person to appreciate the amount of detail on them. I studied at Hastings College of Art from 1999 to 2003 gaining a Diploma with Distinction from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Brighton. I studied under Tony Bennet, internationally recognised for his work in ceramics and sculptures.

I work in many different media including clay, plaster and glass. I also do monoprints, paintings in oils and acrylics and collages.

I have had exhibitions in both France and England including: The Rock-A-Nore Gallery, The Bourne Hall, St. Mary's in the Castle, The Stratton Gallery, and The Pier, Hastings, England, The Global Cafe Ibicaba, Angouleme, Chez Paul, Angouleme, Le Plaisance, Barbezieux, and Le Maine Giraud, Champagne Vigny, France.

My prints were also used by the French Television channel TF1 for a series.

I have sold work in England, Norway, Thailand, Belgium, USA, France, Portugal, Germany and Australia and New Zealand. I hope you will join this list!
