Christmas Thoughts

We have some huge pine trees in our garden. Most people would probably cut them down just to get rid of all the little pinecones that cover the ground. I'm happy that we have woodpeckers and birds singing from the pine trees and squirrels running up and down the tree trunks. The pine cones are also decorative. They were the inspiration behind this shot and many other photos I have taken in the past.
