Josephina Yar grew up in Odessa, studied in Moscow, reside in Jerusalem. She has taught in Jerusalem Art Academy Bezalel. Her works has been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Israel, USA, Russia, England, France, Canada, Germany, China and Japan. Museums of Haifa, Mongeron, New Jersey and MOMA Shanghai posses her work. Her aesthetic principals have their origin in Russian Avant-garde. She considers Kandinsky, Malevich, Filonov and El Lisitzky as her teachers and forerunners. John Russell qualified Russian Experiment in Art as “the most fascinating and mysterious episodes in the history of modern art”. They strive to combine a new aesthetic with new technology. Josephina transforms the heritage of Russian Avant-garde on Hi-Tech level.
