I have been a professional artist for over 30 years, at first as an oil painter and in the last 25 years as a watercolorist. My subjects range from portraits, florals, animals, and landscapes to abstracts. One of my main interests is people in their everyday situations. I have taken dozens of workshops with major watercolor artists over the years, such as Robert E. Wood, Irving Shapiro, Katherine Chang Liu, Alex Powers, Christopher Schink, Don Andrews, just to name a few. I prefer the scenes of Sonoma County (wine country) where I currently reside. Most recently I have fallen in love with plein air painting and now have returned to painting mostly in oils and pastels. I have won many awards for my work in all media and my work is collected throughout the country.
