Jodi Whalen is a self-taught artist working from her studio in a funky old brick industrial building in Burlington, Vermont.
Two distinct styles are prevalent in her work. Her abstract pieces represent an outward expression of inner feelings that focus on vision, hope, and trust. Her cartoon images are also personal, often reflecting observations about the world around her or her own bumbling experience of trying to get by with a smile on her face.
