Born native of Leesburg, VA (Loudoun County)located near Dulles International Airport of Northern Virginia, I knew at an early age that I was called to be an artist. So, I endeavored to take courses in art through the Art Instruction Schools of Minneapolis, MN and thereby achieved my art certificate for "advertising and illustration". I have painted numerous portraits of friends, babies, family members, and celebrities as well as several well known sites and buildings. I taught basic art in Nigeria for the two years that I spent there. Upon my return, I did several illustrations regarding child behavior for students at George Mason University here in Northern Virginia. I am still doing art by commission on many subjects, especially portraits.
A few years ago, a reknown evangelist, Christipher Joy, asked me to do illustrations for him in his travels for preaching the Word of God (the Gospel of Jesus Christ unto salvation). I was so taken by the work I was doing for him that I at last found myself picturing the Words of God in my own spirit. That is when I chose above all else to start painting in symbolic form (surrealistic/symbolism), representing the Word taken from the 66 Books of the Bible.
Needless to say,I have not been the same since and passionately excited about the way my visions hold such a heavy annointing thereby giving way to witness the Word of God! Recently, I obtained my Associates Degree as an endeavor to take my talent to another level in Visual Communications (graphic art) and the technological area of creativity.
My objective is to fulfill the great commission by going into all the world preaching the gospel, using my talent to take on the vision of the good news.
"A picture paints a thousand words," so it is said and I imagine the salvation of lots of souls as my artwork goes forth, is viewed and talked about among many!
