Hello...I'm a self-taught artist. I was born in the midwest but responded to the call of the ocean. While living in Florida I illustrated for a women's convention in 2001. That started my life in a whole different direction. The well-known marine life artist (Paul McPhee) became my mentor and helped me begin my career. We worked together doing marine murals, sharing our love of marine life and conservation efforts. When family concerns brought me back to the midwest I continued marine paintings and branched into portraits and spiritual subjects.
My commissioned paintings range from the ordinary to the surreal. One thing my paintings all have in common is passion for light and inner truth.
