About Me:
As a freelance artist who has been painting since childhood, I am always learning and discovering new techniques and ways to do what I love.
Watercolors are unpredictable...much like life...and that is what I love about this medium. Most of my creations are borne out of a desire to express what I see. This is why I paint. Georgia O'Keefe expressed this well..."When you take a flower in your hand and really look at it, it's your world for the moment. I want to give that world to someone else." This is what I hope to accomplish in my paintings...as well as expressing how I feel.
My paintings are a creation of something imagined or felt that just flows or an intrepretation of my observations of life around me. Painting gives me a sense of immense satisfaction and joy. That part of my soul that longs to create is satisfied and everything else in life 'clicks'. Life is good. Art brings to life a part of me that wouldn't be seen otherwise. It is the language of my heart and soul...my own colorful dance...or expression of life that hopefully speaks or gives something to yours.
