Original Post: Good day at art fair
Hey there fellow artists! Did an outside art show in Island Heights, NJ on May 5th. Went incredibly awesome!! Started off a little rough, the forecast called for a sunny day, 66 degress. But when I was driving over there, totally looked like rain. My 13 yr. old daughter, who was doing the show with me, said, Maybe we should go home. I told her, No!!, I committed to this, and I paid for this, and don't worry, the weather will improve. Well, by noon, the sun came out.....and I made my first sale! It was so great!! Can't really describe the feeling, cuz I was just having fun, seeing everybody else's work, exposing my daughter to it...sales were icing on the cake, y'know? Long story short...made 7 sales, met so many funny, incredibly cool people,got to use my square credit card reader, and had fun with my kid. Awesome!!! Sometimes if you keep at it, eventually it all comes together:)
