Hand in Post

Hand in

Due to hardware issues I haven't been able to render out any animated sequences of my models however this will be done before the degree show. I have included still renders of all my models and play blasts of relevant animation.

Female Model

This is the most current Render from Maya.

This is how the final rendering will look with editing in After Effects.

This is a playblast and music test for the camera animation.

Things to do for the Degree Show:
- Adjust the lighting.
- Add the Cigarette smoke.
- Add the "Sparkles" to the diamonds.
- Render out the Scene.
- Composite in After Effects and add music.
- Render out a T-Pose Wireframe with Polycount.

Elderly Bust

This is a still render out of ZBrush of the final model.

- Adjust Lighting
- Change Eye Colour
- Adjust Fibermesh Materials
- Render out Turntable
- Render out a Wireframe Turntable with Polycount

Girl Character

Boy and Dog Models

I have been working on a few models at the same time.

This one I have modelled, UV mapped, Textured and Sculpted in Maya and ZBrush.

All I have left to do is export the Normal and Displacement Maps.

Production - Female 10th February to 22nd February

Ok, the Female character has taken a lot longer than planned and I'm now 1 week in my production schedule. Hopefully I'll be able to make up the time with the next Character as it's much simpler.

For the last couple of weeks I have basically but everything together, posed the model, painted more weights and just put the final tweaks. There's still a lot more work to do but it's going to have to wait as I really need to start my next model.

This is the model so far.

This was a very basic render with a simple 3 point setup. The real lights won't be as harsh.

Things that I still need to do:

- Adjust the pose and make her more relaxed.
- Maybe adjust her expression.
- Adjust the Skin and reduce the shine (Could be due to the poor lighting)
- Create the animated smoke that will swirl around her.
- Fix the lighting.

This will all have to be done when I have some spare time. For now I am moving on to my next Character as I am already too far behind.

Post Production - 9th Jan to 10th February - Female

This post contains everything I have done since the start of this year, which on my production chart is dated as the 9th January.

We're currently near the end of Week 20 which my chart also suggests I should have a finished, Rigged and UV Mapped model in the progress of being textured which I do.

Here is a screenshot of the current Character Mesh, it is rigged, has most of the weights painted and has been UV mapped. I haven't started texturing this mesh yet as I have been texturing the Clothing and props first and gathering references for the face and skin. I am also considering redoing the Hair.

And this is the face...

And her clothing...Bra, Knickers and Suspender Belt.

(Gloves and Stockings are part of the original mesh)

Post Production Animatic

This is a link to my Animatic on Youtube.

And this is a a larger version of my production chart....

Elderly Bust

These are the photographs of my Mum that I used to create an elderly sketch

This is the final sketch of the elderly face.

This is a model  I found on google, I've included it because I really like the copper statue effect on the model on the left. However I don't think this texture would now fit the type of model I have designed.
