I woke up one morning with some of the worst backpain I've ever had and haven't felt comfortable enough to draw, or picture taking. Not until around Nov 1st. I have tons more new photos and hope to be able to concentrate and get pencil to paper. Here I am dressed up in some Harley gear. lol Enjoy. Sometimes for me it isn't so much what is "inspiration" but worries in everyday life that distract you. My getaway is usually the backyard and enjoying to birds and sounds. Getting some photos. I love bird watching. Birds are fascinating creatures that are predictable and unpredictable. They each have personalities that are lovable and sweet, to just down right hilarious. I love catching shots that aren't just "pretty" ones, but moments they are cleaning themselves, fluffing their feathers, etc., It is amazing that I can get as close as I do to our feathered friends. I have had encounters that leave me in "awe." I would be in INCHES of a nuthatch and it goes on its business. Throwing peanuts on the roof for a scrubjay and they return for more. I recently stood about 4 inches from the hummer feeder and one came and kept flying up to my bright shirt and down to my pants. I held out my hand and it ALMOST touched me, ALLLL MOST. It flew around between me and the feeder... then stop and hover at my face, take a drink, hover some more. It was one of the most beautiful sights to witness. The wings beating and the mee mee bird feet. I always thank the birds for my time. My dad believes that are used to me and are not afraid. I am glad you are enjoying them as much as I am. I hope to do something further with my photos. I've done a bird calendar last year and this year my friends wanted more of an art calendar. It's nice my photos give my inspiration for my drawings. I began a new one tonight. Wildlife Rocks!
