A Tale Told to Tell: Lost, Found, Crowned ('05)

Whilst walking thru the great halls of an institution very, very south of me now ( a great structure that could be seen while surfing in the sea;) carrying pencil/ conte'/ erasers/ rag and pad i stumbled before a a statue that held my gaze and thus set my tools ablaze. A slight site of what stood before me caught on a pad is what I took away that day. And of course with many other pieces of 'process & production' it was passed on and piled upon. Then amidst the toil and tussle of life, or rather....... the piece got Lost amidst the rubble and rumble of my life; packed in a box and out of sight.

The happiness and strife of life took me on a journey and from town to town, in a box or sack on my back; that's how it and i moved around with of course, a few other pieces for your eyes. And then one day I entered the emerald green state and realized I must stay but still be on my way. With finalized settling, the box & sack came off my back, living with others i unpacked. Under many other papered pieces, and crumpled away, the sanguine conte' just visually screamed up at me; it was a scene. So whilst living near the sound, i could proclaim, it was Found.

Many that visited, took it into view unsure of what next would ensue....then along came a person who slowly turned to be a friend with essence & perseverance and whispered 'Fire and Frame'.....many a times, many a days. Then rescued and recycled wood fell into view and I knew what to do. Thus the piece was Crowned with much 'adieu', fire and frame certianly came into play for the final view. Thus came the name and eventually, was displayed.

The tale told to tell of 'Lost, Found, Crowned ('05)';..... please understand it is a symbol of trade & tradition entwined with construction and completion. [Bio.....www.artwanted.com/mrcanthony].
Thank you for reading thru and for taking a view of what I do.

....ESSENCE OF THEIR PRESENCE

Three down and unsure what next to proclaim & profess to be found sound....oh, I know; Giggling and aglow is how i often roll but it isn't because all the art that I show......no it's because of the few that grasp a view of what I do, before all of you get to. It took two to bring me unto this earth, my first breath grabbed and grasped, and then i was set on my path. All along that trek i've heard the beat of each piece but it's the friends and family that have kept and keep me on my feet. The path of the past, the beat of each piece-wouldn't have happened without friends and family. Relishing the moments they walk through my Dutch style studio door and aide & add to my endeavorous artistic score. They are apart of the rumble & roar that comes from behind that door. Giving consideration & conversation to contemplation & construction of any one piece. The critiquing of what is seen. Let's not forget the times a pencil or paintbrush got pushed to help me see instructionally. They put-up with my neurotic tendencies; eating, sleeping and breathing the art that I wish to share with all of thee. They take turns beating that drum to which i walk, march and run. They are the one's who symbolically sit at the front of my boat and yell rhythmically "stroke-stroke-stroke!" And they too are part of that recipe that I mentioned, last blog, briefly.....Essentially it is the very essence of their presence that generates an inner glee. Giggling & aglow is how i roll but it isn't because all the art that I show; it's the friends and family...............thank you for reading thru my poetically put prose.

The Beat/ Each Piece

When typing last- i bespoke of path and past; you know, 'every piece a cobblestone beneath my feet'........ Wellllll, every piece actually has a beat. Not drums or bass, but a heart beat-of a pace. You walk into a room, visually consumed and its a symphonic cacophony that ensues. a body of work hangs off the floor and some say they hear the endeavorous artistic score. Look at them from the side and maybe you'll catch a glimpse of a pulsating rise. That beat or score is the drive to complete more.....More-for-the-Score....... not a mantra, but a saying of sorts. So, the summation of this texted & typed piece, maybe it too exudes that beat; beneath the surface of each piece, my heart of art beats. Or rather, every piece, beneath the surface beats a heart of art..... But alas, Art within my heart, is consuming and continuing. The pleasure & passion can be viewed, the toiling and tussling is given and construed.... So now you know about that beat. Did I mention it's only one part of a recipe?........................................ Thank you for reading thru/ taking a view/ seeing what i do.

The Path/ The Past

My chest, a treasure trove collection of the past is slowly being opened to thee; you'll see. This site is catching up with my visual imagery, my journey. The journey is....each piece a cobblestone placed beneath my feet. Each symbolizing the toiling & tussling of conception, construction and completion. A map of the past; where I've been and possibly a direction I'm pointed in. Every artist is on a journey and not necessarily knowing where it leads...but remembering what's mentally-earned along the way, in the next piece, comes into play. As you peek and peer into what I've done for the past years, theres' certainly a whine & grind of the many pieces coming to mind....And as I continue on my way; you know, running the 'rat race at my own pace' i just stopped, to creatively rant and rave. Another day I'll have some more to text-away. Thank you for reading all the way thru, hopefully, verbally entertaining you.

TO BLOG,TO BLAB

This 'blog and blab' is where you have allowances to take-in the verbal landscape of my minds' escape. My spoken words, my perverse rap or rather my spit and spat, will be the creative rant and rave of what i wish to convey. over time it may grow old and that's ok. no need to stay. And to be sincere no need to fear, you won't find the personal here.....at least, no 'walking on beaches,' or 'politics, sex & religion' or even 'sleeping with fuzzy creatures'. From this 'blog and blab' comes the windy and wordy which my vizual pieces don't relay......I'm just a hack or rather 'Another cat in a hat' giving Seussical 'dues' to you-know-who. So i wish to bid thee adieu before you finish reading thru, and remember, that all shown, verbal and visual, adds to my cache' of inner-giggles. MA......
