I lived on the beautiful Isle of
Iona for a year working on the
Abbey and studying to achieve
enough qualifications to be able
to enter university. During my
year I liked nothing more than
the early morning walks along
the beaches and shores of the
small island. The only sounds
were the sounds of early birds
and the gentle lapping of the
waves on the beautiful sands
and rocks.

This painting was painted from
memory of those morning walks
and the stillness of the air.

?Early Morning Iona,? painted in
acrylic on canvas and framed
with a plain pine frame and
behind glass, a painting to
enhance and to bring a feeling
of calm and peace to any room.

The canvas is 20? x24? the
frame in 3? wide all round so
the complete work measures
26? x 30? approx.

Morning Cityscape by Ralph Taylor

This Morning Cityscape is of no
particular city but a memorised
experience form some of the
many cities I have had the
experience of running through in
the early hours of the morning
as the city comes awake. When
the last of the lights are going
out and the early daylight takes
over. As if life was returning
from the death and silence of
the night.

This painting was painted with a
plain wooden frame in mind. At
present it is unframed and the
price reflects this.

Painted on canvas and varnished
it can be framed behind glass or
not.

The canvas size is 24? x 24? so
large enough to make a
statement in any room.
