I am pleased with the colors. I haven't really even done alot of paintings before, except for of course me window painting for past 25 years. I always have blended my colors well, they are never the same colors. I'll post my new work on here soon. And soon, I will have more on canvas. I did paint a little boy playing a guitar on a very small piece of canvas, when i bought this paint. I have painted a giant amy brown fairy about a year or 2 ago, just to get the feel, before painting my own stuff. I have alot more of my own now to paint. I should have taken up painting though year and years ago. It's not so hard. My difficultness is always just the long strands of hair, and I am doing that very well, only it takes such a long time to do, hours in fact. I do like the way the eyes are with painting them so full of color. I have been doing a couple of pieces a week though , so far. This website has really encouraged me alot, and all the great comments from the other artist. I really enjoy seeing their portfolios, and seeing so many talented and so many interested in the same type of work, and all so unique and individual. This month my friend and I go around town to paint several business windows for the Christmas Season. He is a very dear friend of mine. He has lost his fiance this past summer, and has been really feeling depressed. Him and I have been painting store windows for quiet a while. He has since he was 14 and for me, since I was 24,way back in 1982.between the 2 of us we have over fifty years experience painting store windows. It has given me the opportunity to express my work, and also to work on a clear background, with nothing to challange. One of my artist friends calls it Shadowboxing. It's like drawing in thin air, and having a giant easel
