This is me at the Diversity Stride Auction. I had three of my own artworks showing at the event. My old friend from high school also came, which was a complete surprise she didn't even remember me. But then she did, what? I was a little bit more chubby then. One of the heads went to meet me and then he took my picture. So that was great! I also got inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success (not art news, but news)! Today was something else.

This is a copper metal sculpture that was made just recently. I love metal sculpting so much, I might do it more often. I always wondered how they did those wire sculptures and know I'm proud to say that now I do. I would like to God for helping me with this project. Without God I probably would never have finished and done it.

This is a song that I wrote. I hope you can forgive me. My voice was hoarse the day I taped it, I hope you can forgive me. My voice gets like that, if I start to sing too much. I've been practicing too much and my voice notes aren't coming out like they use to. Please forgive me.

This one is a life-sized paper sculpture that took 6 days to make and 1 sleepless night. It took about 200 dollars to make and took 4 people to take into the building. Thank you God for helping me. Funny thing, the taxi driver who drove was African American and so were the student and janitor who helped me carry it in. Thank God for them. God bless all who helped me carry it in. My two nieghbors and I transported it onto the side walk. May God be blessed for helping me get through the day. This is a piece that depicts the very moment when the young black slave found out he was just freed, due to the abolition act.
