From the Sumerians to the Maya of pre-columbian America to more modern symbols as the caduceus of Hermes in medicine, guiding souls to healing and rebirth. This is also a symbol for Eve and the &apos;fall&apos; of men in the Christian mythos.
In esotheric terms, the serpent is a symbol for kundalini fire rising to awaken. It is meant as a meditation symbol. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;
I found these organic patterns and textures on a rock at Boynton Canyon in Sedona, Arizona. I photographed it and then added a digital mirror effect to create a diptych poster. The original rock  contains traces of malachite, azurite, copper and turquoise. &lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>
