Lionfish Mermaid by Sheryl Westleigh

This is a commissioned sculpture that I did. It was a lot of fun because I got to revisit the concept of the mermaid bust I did a couple years ago. This one is based on a lionfish and is holding a blue-ringed octopus. More information on this sculpture can be found here.

Per ArtWanted rules I've had to censor her because she's topless, the little teal diamonds on her chest aren't there in person.

Another view of Odin's Runesong.

This sculpture is based on the norse myth about Odin hanging himself from Yggdrasil in order to learn the secret of the runes. It's about 26 inches long, sculpted in super sculpey with cold porcelain leaves and painted in acrylics. You can find more information and photos of this sculpture here.
