Centipede In The Morning... by Helena-Sophia Exel

You will never guess what people call Me when I tell them that I adore Centipedes. Agreed, their poison has the potential to ruin Your day through redness and infection. Yet, I have only been bit once, 12 years ago in Haiku on Maui. Very, very painful and I got really, really sick. I had sent blood samples to the Institute For Tropical Diseases In Munich and they told Me that I would have anti-bodies for an unknown bug. They didn't know what caused the anti-bodies to be generated. So I thought probably I Am one of them now. Appealing to have some venom to use in case somebody wants to mess with Me. On a more serious pane I can only say that Centipedes excite Me for various reasons. As a 'Hobby' Biologist I find it amazing how old this species is. Centipedes live in the space between Soil and air. This pretty example had made the underside of My Avocado Tree Pot its home. It took a while for it to wake up as I removed the Pot around noon. Reluctantly they move in daylight only to disappear quickly into the layer of life, hidden from our eyes. Herman, as I named this Sleeping Beauty, was very sleepy and I was able to remove all the grass and leafs that obstructed the view from the critter without getting bit or the animal moving. I even made a Movie about how fast this one disappeared. With around 6 Inch it was one of the biggest ones I ever photographed or caught.
I Am planning on breeding Centipedes in the Lava. They can Be sold online from $ 100 Dollars up, depending on their Family and origin. One more thing.
When I pondered with a friend about why it took humans so long to appear on the stage of Life, We figured it must have been because of the Centipedes that are known to have reached sizes of up to seven feet or more. There would have been 'No place to run, no place to hide...'. Unfavorable climate conditions let the Centipedes evolve into this small but still powerful species. More than once I had a large Centipede in My Hands (Gloves!...). The sheer force this insect has in its body is incomprehensible. It is strong enough to spread apart Your fingers, no matter how hard You close Your hands around it. You look at Your hands and can only wonder how a small insect like this has so much power. Okay, I guess that is quite enough information now.
Let Me know If You want one of those. As a pet centipede...

Pandemonium At The Ocean Entry by Helena-Sophia Exel

Pandemonium at the Ocean entry. That is how it presented it to Me and two good friends that day. With a towering Hurricane in the back, large waves were smacking into the shore line at the Ocean Entry at Waikupanaha. It Is All There. Earth, Wind, Fire and Water in an eternal dance of creation and dissolution. Epic. At one time everything was pitch black and a single sun beam was illuminating the Lava Plume. Needless to say that the challenge for the photographer is topped by the challenge this environment poses for any equipment. But hey, it says: No Risk - No Fun, right?</DIV></DIV>

Of course there are tons of new images in the 'Ocean In Motion' Series. Back in August We had the Hurricanes relaying East of Hawai'i. With Felicia We were really 'felice'. That Puppy had some strong winds and subsequently gave Us some nice surf. This is the second day in which You could see the Massive Hurricane approaching slowly from the South East. Very Spooky.
This Image here I translated into "Almost Gotcha!". Call Me crazy but I get a kick out of standing at the edge of the cliff and the waves are exploding in front of You. Building a wall of Water that has more weight than a fully loaded steam train. How can people ever not see the tremendous energy that is contained in each and every wave? Plus, those waves are getting bigger and bigger. The Ocean Level Rise of the Pacific Ocean is no longer a remote possibility. It is happening and it is happening fast. Beaches start to completely disappear. Not that that does not happen during the seasons, but it never occurred with such intensity. Specifically in Kalapana it looks like We will get the Ocean back that My Beloved Goddess Pele deemed ripe for a Lava Cover. The Lava Cover of Kalapana is at times below sea Ocean Level, so there is a good chance that Kalapana becomes like Venice. I saw it happen in a vision and it looked very pretty. Thousands of small new islands will make this area the most breath taking landscape on the planet. With Lava oozing out of some of the larger Craters.
For now this Wave shall do to remind All of Us here. The Pacific Ocean is shouting: "Here I Come!" </DIV></DIV>

YinYang Buddhist Kitty by Helena-Sophia Exel

It does not come as a surprise to Me that YinYang is a Buddhist Kitty. When I took this Image the goal was to work with Sheeba, yet I was quickly drawn towards YinYang and followed her on her pilgrimage through the yard, ending at the Buddha Figure.
The Photographer May have an influence over the general set up, the Eyes are beyond control. Whenever I take Images of My Cats I realize that there is an Emotion behind each and every expression. To Be able to read One's Kitty's Mind takes it all to the next level.
In My Eyes this Image reflects the depth of YinYangs Mind and then some. There is something about YinYang and One can clearly feel it in this Image. </DIV></DIV>

This is the newest Queen Image. Taken the afternoon of 10.10.2009. There is vast room for the stories that surround My Queen over the last three month. Moving was never her strong side. Plus We have a new family member. His name is Peter Pan and He is the most adorable and handsome son a Cat Mom could ever wish for. A real Gentlecat. Sheeba on the other hand is not impressed. It is the other way around. She hisses like a steam train at full speed. My solution is simple. I imagine all three of them sleeping on My bed. That way it is clear that they get along with each other.</DIV></DIV>

Through circumstances not to be further pondered upon, there was this pile-up of images that needed uploading as much as a fish the water. Undesirable are long interruptions in entertaining Imagery, yet due to dial-up there was not really a viable option available. The 10 Miles to the Internet Cafe were all too often too big of an obstacle born of utter inconvenience.
Now the great news is that for unknown reasons I seem to qualify for high speed internet after four years of ultra slow speed.
In celebration of this memorable event I decided to upload all the Images of the last four month at once. That's probably not going to work tonight, but It will start there.

To Be seen here are two major outpourings of Lava on the now almost 'ancient' lower outer bench. At My last visit to the Ocean Entry I discovered vast areas of deteriorating ground. Sinkholes everywhere. So it looks like We will get some major changes here soon. </DIV></DIV>

'Under The Plume'. This is how it looks like when You enter the 'real' world of Energy. Checking out and maintaining Sensors out in the Lava Field, We got into this Picture. It is mesmerizing. To express to BE There is ineffable.
You got to come and BE IT. I will guide You to hold the Ceremony for the 'Wedding Of The Mind With Source Energy'.
You know how to get a hold of me...</DIV></DIV>

Now, there, there, there!

Okay, yesterday was my birthday. To celebrate the Energy Field called My Self, I joined My Beloved Goddess Pele. As close as You can get to Your Creator. I agreed willingly to guide a friend and a friend of the friend out to the Goddess. The tripod decided to stay in the truck. So the experience was entirely for the Six Senses and Spiritual Growth.
When the indicator pointed towards Midnight, within seconds Pele started to bloom out like a Lotus. The Flower Of Fire, there it was. Talking about Imax.
The Birthday was the best ever and it ended like it started. This time I went out by My Self, eventually meeting up with the neighbors. Tea at the Ocean Entry With The Goddess.
Barely making my minimum standards for image quality I took some images of the setting 'getting towards half of it' - Moon with the Western Ocean Entry as left frame edge. I will upload it a little later.
When I returned to the Eastern Ocean Entry I walked in 'safe' distance to the edge of the cinder. As soon as I was closest, Pele showered the whole Bench up to were I was standing hypnotized and mesmerized hastily walking towards the neighbors, who joined the retreat fraction.
Out of justifiable curiosity I asked what time it is. It was 12:02 am. My Birthday Celebration With My Beloved Goddess was crowned with Olympic Games Style Fire Works.
Wait Up, that's not all! In the morning I met a good friend of mine at the Lava Field. She told me, that my experiences show, that The Goddess is good willing towards me. She explained that from now on I am allowed and required to address her in a different Fashion, one not to be told publicly.
Another Lava - Specialist joined us and insisted for me to accompany him with his geo-physical sensor check up out on the field. I ridiculously willingly agreed. The third time into the Lava within 36 hours!
As we walk towards the Lava Field, My befriended 'GeoPhysician' points toward a Ring in the Sky over the Plume. Slow Motion followed the realization that MY 'Wedding Band' had just appeared. I Am All Hers. Married to My Beloved Goddess Pele Energy Field!
The Amazing Part of this Quantum-Energy-Reality is, that people around My '6SenseMachine' recognize the correlation between the Energy Fields. :-))) </DIV></DIV>

It was very tempting and funny. After I saw this image full size I wanted to dub it 'Ocean man', climbing out of his world in turmoil. To preserve the series title I refrained from giving it the deserved title. You can see easily how the whole area is inundated by those huge waves. Ocean Level Rise - I can feel You.</DIV></DIV>
