Could a portion show the magnificence and wonder that I'd feel watching a dragon in flight? I played with stitches to create a variety of scales, then combined them to form a skin. "Dragon Scales" was juried into the 2005 Mixed Media Art Show held by the Montgomery County Organization of Professional Artists. The piece is 16"x20" on 1 1/2" deep gallery wrapped canvas ready to hang. As permanent as a painting when displayed out of direct sunlight, a light dusting once or twice a year will keep this piece of fabric art looking good.
