This first image was enhanced by Kira my dog standing in the back ground of the shot, her white made the top pod pop. Thanks for the help pup pup. This is from a patch of milkweed in the yard I watch and photograph often. love to watch the changes that take place in this small patch.

Took a ride around the block on this foggy morning to capture some fog pics in the sunrise. It was a grand morning.

The leaves of this small tree where nearly black and white in contrast to the fall colors of brown and golden shades. It was like the images that those in the know, know how to take the color out of a section of a photo, leaveing it black and white or gray scaled, surrounded by colors. Kind of a surrealistic moment on my morning hike.

Old grapes by Deborah Johnson

These grapes grew on the farm when i was a child and our family first moved here. At that time they had been somewhat cultivated into rows by the former owners of the property, but now having gone wild these wine making grapes hang from the trees all about a small corner of the farm. Slightly tart and sour these old vines endure.

This red squirrel ran straight at me and up the tree square in front of me not even a full arms length away, could have pet him, took pic instead. I know red squirrels are mostly on everyones black list but there beautiful colors and coats can not be denied. and the awesome way they can run around a tree. The second image shows him straight up over my head upside down right after he realized how close we got.

his species of blackbird is just passing through our area, I misstook them for grackels or cowbirds. Neat to see a new to me bird.
