Fracture in a graphite micro-particle. The black and white electron microscope scan of this micro-fracture has been transferred in a computer and digitally painted. The final image was printed on canvas with archival inks. The image was created by electrons (electrically charged particles) rather then photons (particles of light) as in photography. This artwork can be printed by request in a larger size on fine art paper or canvas - contact the artist for details. All prints are signed and numbered by the artist.

High resolution monochromatic electron microscope scans of natural micro or nano-structures and nano-sculptures created by the artist by physical or/and chemical processing are digitally painted and printed with archival inks on canvas or fine art paper. This way, the scientific images become artworks and could be showcased for a large audience to educate the public with creative images that are appealing and acceptable. Since there is no light involved in the image creation, NanoArt is different than Photography where the images are generated by particles of light (photons). The Scanning Electron Microscope images are generated by electrons (electrically charged particles) which penetrate deeper in the structure creating images with more depth, more natural 3D look than the photographic images. These artworks can be printed by request in a larger size on fine art paper or canvas - contact the artist for details. All prints are signed and numbered by the artist.
