This is a custom "Batman" logo stained glass piece with a custom framed light box. This was made at the request of my kids for their dad's b-day. This was made with a light blue, clear - frosted, yellow, and opaque glass. he frame was made by Bart for this piece.

The Vortex - Snow Globe by Valarie Connell

This is a pryamid snow globe which lights up in 7 different colors and patterns (a push button is used to change the patterns or for steady burning color). Inside the pryamid is a a quartz crystal that houses the light. The snow globe is 5 1/2" tall with the maple base. The pryamid is put together as a a 3D stained glass piece with copper foil. Glitter was just for the snow.This is my first one and is all original. It was hard to take a clear picture of the snow globe and still be able to see the colors light up, this is why the picture is so dark.

The Moon and Sun - Stained Glass by Valarie Connell

This is a commission I did for someone's birthday. It is my first stained glass piece (picture). In the picture it is hanging above my kitchen window. 6 different types of glass was used. It measures 12 1/4" sq without the frame. The frame is a custom built maple frame made by my boyfriend, making the whole picture approximately 14 1/2" sq.

P.S. This is a copper foiled piece. I may look into doing lead cane down the road.

This is a portrait I did for my boys' father and his birthday. They wanted me to do a drawing for him, so I did. Now I have to figure out how they are to pay me back for the work. I see in the near future, a time I don't have to do dish...:) I am not completely happy with it, but it is going to have to do for now.

We have been so busy with our move that I have had hardly any time to work on new stained glass or windchimes (bummer). I am trying to get some digital art done, so that at least I am still working. I think the the last two digital art pieces have come out beautifully and I am happy with them. Give me a bout a month or two and I will be up and running again on my stained glass, windchimes, snow globes, and wood burnings. I have so many ideas floating around in my head just begging to get out. Ok, now I really have a headache! :) Have a blessed day!!
