A continuation of my previous queen of hearts work. Next I need to work on spades and clubs. The clockwork background was a pain to do. @.@ At least I learned a few new techniques for drawing cogs. The diamonds of the cogs are the teeth and I used these to symbolize wealth. For those who visit my deviantart gallery, you will notice that theres two versions. The first version I don't like anymore, I was trying for a completely golden scene. In the end I think the purple contrast actually adds a lot more to the picture.

This one took a while because of all the detail in it. It was sort of an odd start because I started it off as an odd face sketch and then forced myself to add more and more to it. I like how it turned out.

Another commission. :3 This was a fun one for phil. He commissioned me to do a patchwork mermaid based on this idea of a girl that was so in love with the sea that she made a tail out of other fish.

I'm an odd thing. >.> I think the picture mostly can speak for itself. It was sort of a photoshop test since I haven't been working with it a lot recently. Overall it turned out about how I wanted it. I was hoping for more of a painterly feel but it appears the picture wanted to do it's own thing.

Well... just in time for Valentines day. Sort of another fun realism project and it was about time I did another fairy. There are a few fractals included to add some spice to it. I don't think there's much I can say about this one so I will let the image just speak for itself.

Sort of a fun picture. It ended up being colored a bit rapidly because of computer issues. Overall the background was overwhelming just because I had never had to draw trees with snow before. The idea behind her is that she's sort of a female jack frost. I didn't draw in the eyes because I didn't want her to seem human. So they sort of make her a bit distant and unapproachable. The swing was to make it seem a bit playful. The only part I am sort of meh about is the feet. I had trouble while drawing them and they still bother me a bit. I hope you like it.

Another fun drawing from work that I colored. I used the moon from my earlier work Ojen kaleidoscope again. (I was far too proud of that moon. the fact that I made it and the only place you could really ever see it was a button made me so sad. 6.6 ) It's odd working with a piece in orange. But a fun change. Its not one of my normal colors so it was a bit refreshing.

Fun little drawing of one of my gaia avatars The lineart was done at work sense I have a lot of time between calls and paper available to me. Thank god I can actually draw at work now. The moon is sort of odd. I took it from my old ojen kaleidoscope piece because it really wasn't being used there even tho I had created it for the buttons and it had a filter in the poster.

:D It's been a while sense I made a wallpaper. I had to look at a few tutorials online to learn how to make a fractal-ish design. In the end I am really happy with how this turned out.

XD yet again more fun with practicing realism. The odd fact about this one is that I actually made several modifications to the line art and even pushed the line art to the back just to be used as part of the background. I'm rather pleased with the effects of the water bubble. I need to think of a name for the fish now. Any ideas what I should call him?
