I like to find meaning empowering and valuable. A second best find is that I find art to be my way shower. I believe our visual nature, once it is more realized operates in a mode of consciously relating to otherness appreciably. Art gives us a visual birth, only as a kindest amount of a lessor light justly implimented. Said as so guides ever so gently all things through every path of least resistance envisioning a higher vista, where eyes do see. Now I don't believe nature would use the human concept of darkness as an intellegent means to this end. Darkness has not nor never did shine into the light, so forget about any concept of a jealous or vengeful god. We in our inversion state carry enough junk and have inflicted enough self dammage. In the moment alone rests all things necessary to carry the torch in harmony with the manifestation of all things possible. With that in mind, if I were to embody any truth, needs be I see that truth in appreciable otherness, that I see, even if not by sight, nothing less than the best. Light does recognise light, so in this light we may turn left Right, thus what is Left is right, and low, we cannot make a wrong turn. It involves some social role-playing with the mesmerizer making suggestions and his clients becoming absolutely mesmerized by him. Mesmer used his extraordinary powers of suggestion to send people into frenzied convulsions or sleeplike trances. He was so successful that to this day we use his name to describe the exercise of such powers over others. In the early 1770s, Mesmer, a Viennese physician who got his doctorate for a plagiarized dissertation on how the planets affect health, met Maximillian Hell, a Viennese Jesuit and healer. The rest, as they say, is history. Fr. Hell cured people with a magnetic steel plate. Hell's "proof" of magnetic healing was that it worked, i.e., he had a lot of satisfied customers. Mesmer plagiarized Hell's magnetic therapy and posited that it works because there is a very subtle magnetic fluid flowing through everything but which sometimes gets disturbed and needs to be restored to its proper flow. Hell, Mesmer theorized, was unblocking the flow of this magnetic fluid with his magnets. Mesmer eventually discovered that he got the same results without the magnets. Rather than attribute this to the placebo effect, he posited that "animal magnetism" accounted for his ability to correct the flow of the universal magnetic fluid. (Today, the term "animal magnetism" means mesmerism or hypnotic power, but I have heard it misused more than once by females to mean a sexy male and by members of both sexes to mean someone to whom animals are attracted.) Mesmer also discovered that even though he didn't need magnets to get results, the dramatic effect of waving a magnetized pole over a person, or having his subjects sit in magnetized water or hold magnetized poles, etc., while he moved around in brightly colored robes playing the scientific faith healer, made for better drama and for larger audiences. He was able to evoke from a number of his clients entertaining behaviors ranging from sleeping to dancing to having convulsions. Mesmer did basically what today's hypnotists do in the showroom and the clinic, and what faith healers do in the circus tents and churches, only he did them together, making a great show out of his magnetic cures. With Louis XVI's and Marie Antoinette's help, Mesmer set up a Magnetic Institute where he had his patients do such things as sit with their feet in a fountain of magnetized water while holding cables attached to magnetized trees. He was later denounced as a fraud by the French medical establishment and by a commission which included Benjamin Franklin. Did Fr. Hell and Dr. Mesmer really cure anyone? No, of course not. Did any of their patients feel better after taking the cure, or did they declare that they had been healed? Yes, of course. Faith healers and quacks always have "successes." In some cases, they create the illnesses themselves through their power of suggestion and the receptiveness of their subjects. These iatrogenic diseases may or may not have painful physical manifestations. These "diseases" can be as serious as demonic possession or as trivial as excessive giggling. They can present dramatic manifestations such as convulsions or soporific manifestations such as a sleeplike stupor. According to Nicholas Spanos, such patients are not really sick until they agree to play the role of the sick patient for the heroic doctor/savior. Spanos also argues that so-called dissociation or multiple personality disorder is an iatrogenic disease and got established as a treatable illness in much the same way that exorcism for demonic possession, psychoanalysis for hysteria, and fads such as mesmerism got established. Spanos maintains that there is no such thing as multiple personalities, that the idea is a social creation accepted by certain patients who learn to play the roles expected of them as a person with multiple personality disorder (MPD). (Robert Baker makes the same argument for hypnosis.) When characters such as Mesmer "cure" people, it is his subjects who "cure" themselves. They provide the rapport with their master, and they respond to his suggestions because they agree to respond to them. In short, all such "healing" is done by faith. Sometimes the cure or behavior change might be accomplished by less troubling and less expensive alternative means. The spirits of Fr. Hell and Dr. Mesmer might be happy to know that magnetic stimulation of the brain's left prefrontal cortex is being tested as a possible aid for depressed patients. Most depression can now be controlled with pharmaceutical treatment, but very severe cases seem to respond only to electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), the kind featured in One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest and lampooned by almost anyone in the media or public eye who brings up the topic. Researchers at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) are hoping that repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) will work like ECT but without the side effects (seizures and memory loss, in some patients). This research is not based on a belief in animal magnetism or universal magnetic fluids, but upon the facts that (1) ECT works even though nobody knows how; (2) the left prefrontal cortex has been implicated as a site of abnormally low metabolism in depressed brains; (3) after ECT and TMS there are widespread increases in brain metabolism; (4) after ECT many patients experience a dramatic improvement in mood; and (5) preliminary studies have found some mood improvement in some patients who have been treated with TMS. However, do not look for another Mesmer to arise from the medical establishment and take this show on the road. Scientists are investigating TMS, not faith healers. They may end up concluding the treatment is worthless or harmful. Artwanted Artists and Patrons, Blessings to you as you are a most dearest support to me. I have not been able to use my keyboard secondary to USB unavailability. I am at my parents home to type this evening. I spend much time at home honoring the homeless in predispositions highly causative to defaulted felled falling without acceptance and encouragement. It is vital to my understanding various post-hidden forces in destructive modes where cracks unhidden are without safety nets. The safety nets to prevent slipping through the cracks DO EXIST and the public fall for media mayhem and being had via sadness yet all the while few would dare to see and embrace truth of all often subjected to demortification and crime perpetuation. Stigmatization rears its head again and again as false fictions manifest as dots in the darkness are connected allotting delusion in not seeing the best in the potential for seeing the best to thus nurture the innate often sleeping reality of each of God's BEST--even inside the least of such in those who reject the least of His creations. This will only come to pass as we are soon to be valued by the gifts earned in every omni way less best if not here not seen in every eye on high endowed to let go becoming centered back into the garden of appreciable otherness where all eyes are lifted in felled falling in upward apprise as the delusions of sin grin to those letting go to flow and follow the rise arisen, once allow and vanity to insanity open the broken to allot the darkness its vital necessity to ground rebirthing in letting go, in forgetting so vital to remembering...remembering the sanctity of the divinity awakened unsleeping and all aware as we learn compassion by our unique experiences in separation and fragmentation. Compassion is key in open sight see for free paid in full in irrevocable present mindedness where dots in the darkness are non-spots creating the fall and now like newly know in the resurrection zone where every omni why way cracks the code to the now known road: To where we have always been, from the image of the image as. Self in dire sates find the dilemma a vital necessity to awaken in a world with out end. Every >ME< in a downward fall unstopped finds the rise in a China mental experiment where the news in seeing your paradigm shift thrift in glory as the M wobbly reveals the W shifted to WE mode beyond a shadow of any doubt where the word is unblemished while jot less tittles lead to higher reality apprise because you are you with ever opening eyes seeing none les than best passing gold for streets placed best to support your highest home coming. You are you and the world deserves this glory through the dawning ways in a new now praise, but the praise best shines as recognition unnoted gets every angelic smile loosened in the key of you and measured in full perfected in we: all-inclusive rising arisen like a rose undefiled...smell the rest as test after test is given a rest.
