An Acrylic painting of a couple walking hand in hand under the evening sky. Not quite dusk, yet not quite day - that peaceful, quiet and reflective time of the day, just before the sun sinks. The sky is painted in a bold "painterly" fashion to add drama, in contrast to the subdued tones and brushwork of the mountains and earth, which are just beginning to melt into the cover of the approaching dusk.

The scent from them was amazing and they climbed up over a fence - almost covering it from view with their beautiful peachy tones. Acrylic seascape painting depicting the Moon at midnight in high summer as seen from my home in the North of Scotland. It never gets completely dark during the summer months and is sometimes light enough to (just) read a book in the garden at 2am. The skies and moon over the coastal waters make for some stunning scenery at this time of year.
