This was a commission request meant for a CD cover and it was completed almost 10 months ago... you may have seen a sneak peak of it on my new 2010 calendar, thought i post the artwork officially When and if i have further information on this project i will be updating with info and links, if not hope you still enjoy my artwork

I took a few step by step work in progress of this artwork and when i have some free time i will upload it on my wesbite.

The story/illustration basically is a fallen type of angel trying to get back into heaven and she sees the cross as a sign ,on the cross is the bands name.

I have drawn/painted people before but i was really proud how i did the cross design , it was very time consuming especially getting the fonts right.

This was completed with watercolor, acrylics and color pencils on 10x9 arches hotpress

Original ACEO was sold 50% of the proceedings was donated to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation

The GIFT was completed for Amy Brown's/Jessica Galbreth Enchanted Visions project .Octobers chosen theme was "The Gift" you can view HERE

Aceo (2'5 X 3'5 ) completed on Bristol board with pencils and a touch of pink acrylic. I chose a light, pretty and simple color scheme.

I wish i had time to do something bigger for the theme but due to a busy schedule it was not possible, i still hope you enjoy my artwork :)

In Memory "911 Angels" by Katerina Koukiotis

I designed a special print/poster of all my angel artworks i did in tribute over the years for the 9/11/01 victims in honor for the upcoming 8th Memorial 9/11/01 Anniversary.

Tears in Heaven was my very first drawing angel i did in tribute and i was so touched how much people embraced and accepted it and requested for more 9/11 angel artworks, i continued drawing a new angel for every memorial for the last 4 years.

My thoughts and prayers go out to those who loved loved ones and to everyone who was affected by this tragedy.
