This piece was created as part of my
goddess series, i was inspired to
create a moon goddess whose hair
swirled and became part of the moon
iteself by a piece by Boris Vallejo, only
i wanted to create a more spiritual feel
and i wanted the silhouette of the
moon to almost look look like the
outline of her hair aswell.
This was created on golden tinted
paper in charcoal with white and silver
highlights.

This piece was created for two
reasons, firstly the figure is to be used
on a flyer for a charity burlesque night
being held in Brighton (Nov 10th
2006), its also being shown at Brushes
Needles and Burnouts an exhibition of
lowbrow art and kustom kulture in the
USA. The theme was somewhere
between exotic burlesque belly dancer
and traditional fantasy/adventure pulp
fiction novels. I wanted that jungle tiki
feel to the image aswell as her exotic
costume and bird of paradise feathers.
She is painted in acrylics on canvas
and is part of a pair of pictures, the
second being Jungle Cat.

Starlet was created for an exhibition
im running in January. Shes a large
piece painted in acrylics on canvas
with wallpaper used for the textured
background and sequins used
underneath the paint in her hair and
on her dress to also create texture and
interest. She is a performer, a star of
the stage or screen, classic beauty and
sensuality.

This is a piece that has taken me ages
to complete and has evolved into what
it is now. The painting depicts Titania
being crowned Queen of the faeries in
a beautiful art nouveau setting.Golden
forest tendrils surround her in her
embroidered and bejewelled dress.

of a beautiful black mermaid swirling
in a turquoise ocean, so Pearl was
born.

This picture was outlines using black
ink and then coloured using
watercolour with highlights of white
ink. Its very loosely based on Daphne
the water nymph of greek mythology,
though moreso i thought the name
suited her!
