This painting was done for the laboratory of Baptist East Medical Center where I also work. The hospital is undertaking a stance that all we do is sacred work, so this painting will become the theme painting for the laboratory. The painting is in acrylic on wood and measures 24" x 20".

The reference photo for this 15" x 11" oil painting of St. Therese, "The Little Flower", was a black and white photograph taken by her sister. I have chosen the colors for the painting which I was told may have been her actual hair and eye color. This painting will be used for a CD cover of originally composed melodys by Marc Karam who will use the poems of St. Therese for inspiration.

This rendition of the portrait of the lone storm rider of hurricane IKE measures 14" x 11" and is done in oi on canvas. Appearantly he was fearless and faced the storm with calm and ease.
