This is the Queen of the Night in my garden, (Selenicereus pteranthus), Reina de la Noche. The blossom is wide open in the night from 1 to 4 and than she fades again. Hope you like this wonder of nature.

Hello! The tree in this photograph is a Texas Mountain Laurel that I planted in my back yard. It has the most amazing scent when it blooms. It can be smelled for a quarter mile! The bees love it, as you can tell.

I call this photograph "Holiday Bonnet"

Oregon Rhododendron, one of the earliest in our yard in the Coast range mountains. Usually she blooms in February with any encouragement [like three sunny afternoons in a row] at all -- just in time for the hailstones or snowstorms. She never learns, but you have to admire her persistence!
