My Artist Avatar Icon Will not update

I changed my "Artist Avatar Icon:"the new icon shows in my preferences form but is not my old icon is still showing up on my profile, and everywhere else including this very message. Please advise.

David, this can happen when your browser cache will save a copy of the old image (on your computer) and not show the new one when you visit the page. However, most people will see the new one automatically. Try deleting your browser cache and see if you notice the change in avatar.
