You have a lot of experience it graphite... Have you thought of expanding you creativity in other mediums maybe sculpture. I think you would excel at it also :)

Graphite is not the only medium experienced by my hands..example below. Acrylic and watercolor on paper below called " Early Light "..not to mention the canvases I've done which I'll post later in the future.

The top image has great contrast of 3 dimensional shadowing. Very calm colour choice. It is a quality piece. For next time you might consider putting the more intense (beautiful) blue further in from the bottom edge when planning the composition. The blue captures to much attention competing a bit with the interesting portrait because of both the great colour and the darkness of the blue. People tend to look at the darkest and lightest points which ever is the smallest area/portion of Dark or Light. As referred to in my book.
