one minus only...everything is just fine, but the water. The water gives reflection of the the sky, which in the case of your painting is quite a mismatch.

very nice. I don't mind the inconsistency with the water color and the sky so much, that seems like a deliberate choice to create a specific balance of colors. also, it's a stormy sky, with breaks in the clouds, and it seems to me that tends to be when you see the seas being green like that. then again I'm no sailor, so my experience with oceans is limited to occasional trips to the coast.

I like your sailboat. I am not sure where the sun is coming from, I assume it's in the side of the boat (where the viewer is standing). If so, then the top of the clouds would show more light. Your largest sail is perfect and the smaller sail would be lighter in the middle. I also suggest putting more light in the water on the bottom front corner and behind the boat reflecting the sun- this would give more depth and highlight the boat more. I would finally remove some of those clouds around the upper mast and just put more blue sky-- it is presently taking away from the sailboat. It's a good painting just a little touch-up.

I love the color of the sea paired with the sail!

Gorgeous boat! Love the birds. And you could probably sell it. But this lime green sea is pretty vivid for such a soft colored sky. And do boats generally run WITH the waves? I thought it was easier to cut across them. If it were mine i'd paint out the current ocean and put another one in it.
