You only see her beauty,

In your view she shines.

She’s confident and strong

She’s light and laughter.

What you don’t see

is what comes after.

When she’s alone

and she’s breaking a part.

The doom and darkness

That consumes her heart.

You can’t see the pain

the decaying taking place inside.

You can’t hear the trembling

when a heart cries.

When a heart a cries;

you can’t sense it.

You can’t see the tears.

You can’t hear the sorrow

or feel the fear…

When it’s a heart that cries.

All the hurt is within,

the doubts and disbelief.

What is the purpose of life?

Does all love leave?

She puts on the make up,

forces the smile and laughter to be.

She faces the world

and no one can see
