Joe Sorren

While on the subject of Juxtapoz artists, this guy Joe Sorren has blown my mind in the past, but his new stuff is absolutely amazing. He does about one or two solo shows a year and his newest one "When she was a Camera" is absolutely beautiful.

The depth he creates through layers and layers of glazes is amazing. I am in complete awe. Check out www.joesorren.com for more work. It is definitely worth the visit.

Went to visit Joe Sorren's web site and was absolutely amazed at his work.

His style, though not completely unique, was very original. I loved Joe Garcia and the Meanie character. The standard and quality of his work is incredible. I'm glad I took the trouble to look at the site. Everyone should have a look. We can learn a lot!

Thanks Rob for sharing it with us and thanks to you and Justin for giving me so much encouragement with my paintings. Praise indeed from real artists! Much appreciated by this 'Sunday Painter'!
