I've posted some of my work, but they are a little blurry. I post them at 5"x7". I've upped my dpi on the scanner, but it hasn't helped. They are scanned as 8"x10". Does anyone have any ideas?

5" x 7" image that you post, what dpi is it?? I usually upload mine the same size with 72dpi. Any higher dpi will be wasted as monitors only displays up to 72dpi. Anything smaller than that will shrink the size of your image I believe.
If your images are blurred, or even pixelated, perhaps it is your scanner not able to focus properly, or the resolution being too low. AW does resize any images bigger than 600 pixels (different measurement than the one I mentioned above.)
It does get frustrating at time, doesn't it... Hope this helped.

If you like, send me an image that you are ready to post... I can try and figure out the dpi and so on...

As for your amazing pencil works, try scanning it grayscale and not the color.. might make a bit of difference...
And if there is any option on the bit.. go into your preferences and see what you can find.. the more the number of bit, the more detail the scanner will pick up... oh and the glass needs to be cleaned all the time too... what a hassel, huh..lol

~Thanks Cramer~ I washed the glass right after I posted. I do use acrylic coating and workable fixative. Sometimes I don't wait until they are completely dry before I scan them in. So I will keep the screen cleaned.
~Thanks Blue~ I do scan on grayscale, I will check the bit. And if all else fails I will take you up on your offer and send you a copy first.
I have had the scanner for a couple of years. So it could be the scanner. Thanks everyone for your help. ~Robyn~
