Stained Glass

This is a drawing I put together this evening after a creative drought (don't you hate those?!?) recently. I plan on working her wings back into the stained glass behind her. Curious as to people's thoughts on media and/or color scheme? I'm not positive what I'd like to finish this one: definitely in color though. Stained glass is beautiful and I want to portray that through the color. I thank you for looking, and look forward to your imput!

Well I will say Glass, acrylic or digital, all of those give the right type of colours, even though I love pencils. I really don't think pencils will give you quite the right richness of colour for a stained glass look.

I was thinking about trying a digital coloring: I'm more of a traditional artist and jsut recently venturing into digital art. :) I really love colored pencil as well: I don't think I can personally get enough 'oomph' into the colors (especially the background pane) to make me happy with it. I really enjoy working in watercolor, so I may try that. Maybe use just a more concentrated color to get enough brightness in there for the glass look. Also planning on trying a digital version too. ;) Thank you ALL that have offered suggestions: I truly appreciate you help and imput! Thank you!
