Copyright Joan A Hamilton July 2010 A digitally painted watercolour in a looser wetter style than my usual of a Great Blue Heron standing in the reeds at the water's edge. The scene is painted in teal, blue and green. Soft reflections and diffuse colours in a very northern Ontario palette make the mood peaceful and serene.
