Yukon Riverboats

I was terrified of painting this at first as it was so busy. when Eric took the photo back in Whitehorse, he had to balance himself on a ledge to get the shot he wanted. While painting ,I had to create small sections of the town starting at either end and eventually meet in the middle. What started happening is while painting in public, people who lived there would use my painting as a map to show exactly where they lived. the photo was the only one in existance that had all 5 riverboats while they were still intact and I was very fortunate that I got to paint it .I feel that the painting turned out very magical.
