Anhinga in a Palm Tree

I still love shooting with my Nikon N90s 35mm camera using professional film and one of my favorite birds is the Anhinga which was once called the "Snake Bird" by locals. Here it is captured on film looking a little sad or serious. Mostly, people are attracted to seeing the Anhigna spreading their wings in the sun to dry them before flight which is a bit comical and whimsical in appearance. The reason I like shooting with film and that particular camera is the averaging light meter readings it gives even in bright sun light and shadowed areas. It also shows the texture of the grain in the film, as this image demonstrates.
