Montmartre:Place Dalida Day 7

This is the painting after seven days of work. I have laid in the cobblestones in the street, sidewalks and the walls in alternating dabs and staggered ranks from a #1 flat brush using Winsor & Newton neutral tint. I then added burnt umber, alizarin carmine, cadmium red light. Prussian blue and titanium white water color were added last as a highlight. After I am through with the street, I will set the depth levels of the roofs, to create the center of interest of the painting. I am starting to feel very comfortable about the course this painting is taking.
