This is a pen and ink that was submitted for this festival in 2001. It was chosen the winner from hundreds of entries. This festival is one of the largest of its kind. It is a four day event held every year in the port community of Morehead City. Morehead City is located just south of the Outer Banks and does a booming business in the seafood trade. This artwork was featured on t-shirts and other wearables.
