The Monster 30x40 Graphite

I just got a detached look at the original and will have to do some serious blending on the skin...he's starting to look too much like Keith Richards from the Stones LOL This is a graphite drawing of Karloff as The Monster. Many people that see this piece at the studio call him "Frankestein" but this is not so, he's The Monster. I been working on this piece for sometime, but all the black and many wrinkles, etc..are very tiring. To get the white surface shaded as dark as the original with a pencil on a 30x40 scale is hand breaking process and I just take my time. Eventually, I will get all the details done and maybe be able to captured his magic. In the original he's too pale and "well nourished" for my taste, so I added more wrinkles, stitches and made him thiner, after all he's been wondering through the country side without much food. lol The bottom piece is to be a lab gadget I added for special effects and is not in the photo, I'm yet to shade it.
