My Chest of Drawers in the studio, painted in 2003/4.
(12 drawers & it has Ultramarine Blue wheels can't be seen in this photo)
Inspired by series of photos that I took in Yorkshire, England.
Each drawer is an Independent painting, Each couple were painted together.. and ALL related to one another in areal landscape.
Thanks for viewing and commenting.
Have a delightful day, may it be full of LIGHT..
Copyrights (c) Nira Dabush Special note:

It was important for me to say, in the kind of catastrophe, I had in my studio recently .. These drawers (10 of them ) were inside water .. Luckily, it was one of the first things that I cleaned and put in the sun to get dried. All the things inside it, were thrown away without no hesitation . It was painted in Acrylics and I put some lacquer, about 3 layers.. I'm not sure which kind of lacquer, but Tambur's matt, I think( Israeli made), which is excellent. These drawers are totally clean, as new. In fact the lintel of the door, changed it's shape that day.. and the door had a problem to be closed regularly. and it's colour is in bad condition ( Oil based paint, not made in Israel, I painted it without the lacquer. )
I may post in future a special post about the damages.
At the meantime.. Such events is a reminder how important is to take photos of artworks.. I could have lost these drawers.. BUT, I had my MIRACLE!!
( The photos taken after the catastrophe. )
Good night from here..
